HTTP
Access, status & redirects
HTTP failures, redirect chains, crawler access, robots state and bounded sitemap discovery.
The diagnostic
Findmetry is a focused technical SEO and website-consistency diagnostic built around observable evidence, bounded coverage and independent verification of material findings.
What we check
The exact checks depend on what the audited site exposes. Findings are limited to evidence Findmetry can reproduce and explain.
HTTP
HTTP failures, redirect chains, crawler access, robots state and bounded sitemap discovery.
Indexing signals
Meta robots, X-Robots-Tag, canonical declarations, multiple canonicals and target-state conflicts where supported.
Architecture
Broken internal targets, stale destinations, URL families, exact duplicates and transparent near-duplicate candidates.
Page signals
Missing or duplicate metadata, structural heading observations and material contradictions between page identity signals.
Browser state
Bounded browser rendering and safe non-destructive interaction where it changes important content, navigation or SEO signals.
Structured data
Deterministic parsing and obvious structural problems. This is not a promise of full Schema.org or rich-result eligibility validation.
How Findmetry works
Each stage is designed to preserve the difference between what was observed, what still needs review and what has been independently confirmed.
Findmetry follows declared request, runtime and interaction limits, respects robots policy, and records exactly what was checked.
Static HTTP, rendered browser and interaction-state evidence remain separate rather than being silently merged into one story.
Technical rules identify observations and review candidates. A raw warning is not automatically a customer finding.
Priority findings are re-checked through an evidence path independent of the originating crawl decision where practical.
Repeated symptoms are grouped only when evidence supports the relationship, then expressed as a small number of clear fixes.
Independent verification
Before a material issue leads the diagnostic, Findmetry tries to reproduce it and check the evidence that the customer-facing statement depends on.
What gets verified?
Affected URL, current response, exact strings or states, representative scope and the evidence needed for the stated consequence.
What if evidence is ambiguous?
Findmetry does not promote uncertainty merely to make the report look more dramatic.
What about counts?
Representative evidence can support a pattern, but the report distinguishes what was directly re-checked from what the original bounded run observed.
What about fixes?
Before recommending consolidation or deletion, the diagnostic checks for valid original pages and avoids blanket advice that could damage the site.
What you receive
The output is designed to be understandable by owners, marketers and web teams without hiding the technical evidence.
What was checked, how much was checked, and the limits that matter when interpreting the result.
Usually a small set of independently verified issues rather than a giant crawler count.
Representative URLs, exact observed states, screenshots when useful, and technical comparisons where they add clarity.
What the verified condition can cause directly, without inventing ranking, traffic or revenue loss.
What to preserve, what needs to change, the affected pattern, and what should be rechecked after the fix.
Lower-value optimization or structural information kept separate from the leading material findings.
The evidence surfaces used, bounded execution limits and anything the diagnostic did not observe.
Scope & limitations
Not included by default
These require separate external data sources and are not implied by a website crawl.
Not included by default
Private first-party account data is outside the public-site diagnostic unless a future service explicitly adds it.
Not included by default
The diagnostic does not turn unrelated performance or compliance frameworks into unsupported findings.
Never assumed
A technical problem can be real without proving a business impact. The diagnostic keeps those statements separate.
Separate field
Findmetry does not run consumer-AI prompt tests or estimate AI citations as part of this diagnostic.
Coverage rule
If a run checks 500 pages from a larger known universe, the report says exactly that instead of claiming whole-site completeness.
